Where to Find Coupons
There are numerous ways to get your hands on coupons. Listed below are the sources I use to find them.
The Sunday Newspaper
I estimate that I get 50% of my coupons from the Sunday newspaper. When there are a lot of coupons in the paper, I buy more than one copy. I have one copy delivered to my home and then I buy more at Kroger (grocery store). The amount of extra papers I buy depends on the number of inserts for a particular week. Make sure you look around for the best price for newspapers. You do not have to pay the full price. In my area, the Sunday newspaper costs $1.75. At Kroger I can buy the paper for $1.25. Wal-Mart sells it for $1.00 and I have heard from other bloggers that the Dollar Store in their area sells it for $1.00.
Online Coupon Companies
There are several companies that allow you to print coupons directly from their website. Visit the following sites to start printing!
Store Mailings
Sign up for your store’s loyalty program and e-mail program. I receive coupons books in the mail from my local grocery store. These usually have high value coupons and dollar off my entire order coupons. Make sure you visit your store’s website. You can usually find coupons there as well.
e-Coupons
There are several companies that let you put e-Coupons on your store’s loyalty card. The first stop should be your store’s website. Kroger has links for e-coupons there. The neat thing about e-Coupons is you can usually stack them with paper coupons. Visit the following websites to get e-Coupons.
Websites
It is amazing how many coupons you can find on manufacturer websites. If you need a specific coupon visit that company’s website and see if they have a coupon you can print. You can even try e-mailing the company. Sometimes they will send you a coupon for contacting them.
Magazines
Many magazines have coupons in them. All You Magazine is a monthly publication that has approximately $65 in coupons in every issue. In fact, it is the only magazine I pay for. I do have subscriptions to many other magazines but I got the subscriptions for free. When I find a hot tip for a free magazine subscription I post it on my website.
Catalinas
Have you ever received a coupon from your cashier when he/she hands you your receipt? These are called catalinas. They are printed from machines located at the checkout register. I have noticed that catalinas print for competing brands. For example: when I buy a certain brand of dog food, a competing brand prints a coupon for me.
Blinkies
Blinkies are coupons that can be found in the grocery stores. They are usually in small machines located by products they are promoting. I grab these coupons even if I do not need the coupon right away. I save the coupon until that item is on sale.
Peelies
These are coupons located on products.
Junk Mail
Yes, good old fashioned junk mail does come in handy. I receive quite a few coupons in the mail. I guess the companies find my name somewhere and send them to me!
Coupon Clipping Services
There are several companies that sell complete coupon inserts from the Sunday newspaper or multiples of individual coupons. Here are some links to these companies:

Coupon Trains
Some people join coupon trains. This is a way to trade coupons with a group of people using the mail. The “Conductor” is the first person who starts the train. He/she places the coupons they don’t need in an envelope and mails it to the next person on the train (list). That person takes out the coupons they need and replaces those coupons with ones not needed by them. Then they mail the envelope to the next person on the route (list).
EBay
If you just can’t find the coupon anywhere, you might be able to find it on eBay.
